Europ Assistance

Europ Assistance USA (EA USA), headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, is a part of the multinational Europ Assistance Group and its network of 70 companies, 5,500 employees and more than 850,000 service providers and medical personnel offering assistance services in 208 countries and territories. For close to half a century, the group has tailored solutions for assisting people wherever they may be and helping them respond to the unexpected throughout their daily lives. Services include emergency medical evacuations, medical referrals, case monitoring, claims management, identity theft resolution and data breach response services. Twenty-four hours a day at 36 assistance centers worldwide, multilingual assistance coordinators answer more than two calls per second and handle one assistance case every two seconds.

EA USA began with the mission to provide travel assistance services to its North American customers. Since opening in 1982, EA USA’s concept of assistance has grown to consist of many other services including identity theft, claims management, security, concierge, overseas medical coverage, and employee assistance programs. EA USA’s duty is to provide the highest quality products and services possible; and to quickly and flexibly respond to changing needs of clients and members. Their North American 24/7 assistance center has not closed for one single minute since opening in 1982.

Trans Union

Trans Union, a leading provider of business intelligence and consumer information services, has long been committed to helping consumers prevent and resolve credit fraud and identity theft issues. The Trans Union Fraud Victim Assistance Department (FVAD) was established in 1992 as the credit reporting industry's first full service, centralized effort dedicated solely to the detection, prevention and rectification of consumer credit fraud.

Trans Union is supported by more than 3600 employees in 25 countries worldwide. With technology-based intelligence products, including innovative credit decisioning and fraud prevention tools, Trans Union enables businesses to manage financial risk and capitalize on market opportunities.

As part of Trans Union Interactive, True Credit helps consumers to manage and control their credit. Through their award-winning Web site, TrueCredit.com, credit management is made easier and more personal. To meet business partners' requirements, Affinity Care leverages their 20 plus years of experience delivering services to employer and affinity groups, and have created preferred vendor relationships with leading, diverse specialty service providers nationally and internationally. Unique from other service providers, their exclusive focus is to provide services through group clients, not direct to consumers. This eliminates the potential for conflict of interest that exists when value added services are offered through most vendors today.

Selman & Company was chosen as WBS's National Third Party Administrator in 2009 to provide our clients with a turnkey option for our ID Theft Assist product line. For 25 years, Selman & Company has marketed and administered life & health products to employers, associations, financial institutions and other affinity groups.
